The New Zealand Network for Financial Literacy encourages the sharing of knowledge and experience and the development of measures that extend financial education and understanding by supporting, and participating in, a range of events, both in New Zealand and overseas.

There have been three national symposium on financial literacy in 2006, 2009 and 2011.
