In October 2010 Retirement Commissioner Diana Crossan attended a high level international conference on financial education in Beirut, Lebanon, hosted by the OECD and the Banque du Liban.
The event together high-level officials and experts from central banks and officials of State governments, the private sector, the academic and civil community as well as non-government organisations. The conference aimed to address the financial empowerment of individuals, with a particular focus on the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region.
Diana Crossan's address was entitled, 'Attitude & behaviour relative to long-term saving'.
